What you see here is the Star wireless receipt printer model TSP143III WLAN. This receipt printer includes a high print speed of 250 mm/second, a guillotine auto cutter with cutter life of 2 million cuts, as well as a thin paper capability providing benefits not only for the environment but also for the user’s operating costs.
The cost-effective solution includes the convenience of an internal power supply along with a vertical mount kit in the box.
A Star cash drawer, iPad and Windfall security swivel stand completes the wireless POSi business system.
The Star Wireless receipt printer connects to your wireless LAN, allowing POSi to print to the receipt printer using a faster connection, with better range from the base station, and with better wireless security than Bluetooth.
The wireless connection relies on setting up IP addresses for the iPad and receipt printer based on your LAN and router / modem configurations.
Note that a separate Star printer and separate Star cash drawer are both extremely robust and heavy duty. The Windfall security stand rotates through 360° for customer viewing and sucks down and locks securely on a flat surface such as the cash drawer or bench without drilling holes.
