This is our Australian developed contract-free POS App called POSiSales (POSi for short).
Whilst the POSiSales app on iPad can go anywhere with you, many a business wants a POS system to have hardware bedded down and connected via ethernet cabling with blue CAT-5 or black CAT-6 cables to provide ultimate network reliability with access to multiple Star receipt printers (e.g. kitchen, bar, stockroom, reception printers) from one or more iPads.
A Star printer can be set on POSi in the Categories settings to print to a particular IP setting, allowing different star printers to be setup on the ethernet network at the required location (e.g. reception, bar, kitchen, stockroom etc)
The iPad could connect wirelessly to the modem router or the iPad can make use of ethernet in the modem router and the support for ethernet built into the iOS operating system (since iOS 10).
A Redpark ethernet adapter communicates with the iPad using a Hi-Speed USB and support connection to 10/100/1000 ethernet networks.
The Redpark adapter connects the iPad to ethernet and power and is instantly recognized by iOS as a native network connection that can be used by any iOS app like POSi.

“POSiSales is one of the most inexpensive and simple ways for small business owners to perform transactions on a day-to-day basis,” said Dr. Helmut Imberger, developer of POSiSales. “We’ve created a system that can be used by anyone, it’s battery powered to help a business sell stuff when power not available.”
