Who developed PosisSales

The owner of PosiSales IT was educated at Melbourne University where he studied maths, biology, education and chemistry, graduating with a Dip.Ed., honours, masters and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry.

His name is Helmut Imberger. He has experience in IT and software development over a 40 year period.

He taught at Warracknabeal High School, RMIT and Swinburne universities and was Senior Lecturer in human sciences and nutrition in the State College of Victoria.

In 1982 Helmut established one of the first Apple resellerships in Australia called IMA Computer Co. P/L, trading as Pentagon Digital.

In addition to sales and service of all Apple products, software development was undertaken in a point-of-sale solution on iPad called PosiSales.

A government investment grant allowed PosiSales software to develop wireless communication via Airport technology to print wirelessly to standard printers at a time printers were not wireless capable.

Since 2013, this unique wireless attribute allows the low cost, subscription-free PosiSales software on iPad to be used in small business enterprises, including cafes, clubs, florists, restaurants, transport, indeed, any business that needs to sell and monitor products fast and easy, without needing a computer system.
